Embedded Software Engineer (multiple openings)

Design and develop digital & analog circuits, multi-layer PCB, automated test fixtures for prototype and large volume productions for next generation IP voice/video telephony systems. Participate in full system development life cycle, from the specifications to design, testing and manufacturing. Work closely with a cross-functional team including marketing, system architecture, embedded software engineering and customer support. Required Job Skills:
  • BS in EE with minimum 4 years experiences in digital and analog hardware design, computer modeling, simulation/software development and advanced CAD tools
  • Experienced with embedded system design with major RISC processor (MIPS, ARM, etc), DSP system and popular peripherals such as UART, Ethernet and USB device
  • Familiar with CPLD and FPGA devices from major vendors such as Xilinx, Altera and Lattice
  • Direct experiences with high-speed digital, analog and mixed circuit design
  • Experience with FXS/FXO/T1/E1 analog/digital telephone interfaces design
  • Experience with handheld devices, Wi-Fi, IP voice and video system design is a major plus
  • Track record of product designs that went to large volume production is an excellent plus
  • Understand the principals of FCC/UL/EMI regulations and know how to meet these standards
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and cooperative attitude
