Software Engineer (multiple openings)

Design, develop, and maintain communication protocol and call control software for next generation IP voice/video telephony systems. Participate in full software development life cycle, from software specifications to design, coding, unit and integration testing. Work closely with a cross-functional team in a fast paced environment. Job positions are based in our Boston, MA and Los Angeles, CA offices.

Required Job Skills
  • In-depth experience and familiarity with VoIP signaling protocols including SIP, or H.323 or MGCP
  • Solid experience in implementing or porting communication protocols at ISO layers 2-4 levels (such as TCP/UDP/IP, routing, PPPoE/PPPoA, ATM AAL5, ISDN, etc) on embedded systems.
  • At least 2+ years experience in embedded software development using C, RISC or DSP processors, real-time OS/kernel, or embedded Linux.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and cooperative attitude
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
